I have a diseased plant. How can I treat it?

 
If you have a diseased plant or a part of it is affected by pests, we have the solution to treat it! In every Magnolia Flower Shop from Cluj-Napoca you can take the diseased part of the plant (leaves, soil) and our expert will prescribe the suitable treatment. In order to establish the exact “diagnosis” the plant needs to be seen and then prescribed the treatment. Not a universal one because each plant disease should be well “studied” and individually cured.

 

I haven’t ordered till now. What should I do to place an order?

 
It’s very simple. Visit us on www.magnolia.ro and after being decided for the item you want to order (flower bouquet, flower arrangement in vase or basket, or other products, like the teddy bear, candies, vases), click the button Add to Cart.  Then, choose the city/country where you would like the flowers shipped to. The next step is to finish ordering.
You can place the order without register on our site (but you can now). The advantage of being registered on www.magnolia.ro is that at future orders, we will complete the form with the information you filled in when you created the account. If you want to sign up, please complete the fields required. It takes you 1 minute to register on our site.

The next step is the payment method. You can request an invoice and then fill in the required information. The invoice will be sent to you in a few days.

Then, you should fill in the information concerning the recipient’s name, address, city, country,  phone number , and hour delivery (you can write a message that will be written on a postcard, so the recipient may know from whom the flowers are; but you can also send flowers without any message – in this case your name will be kept confidential if you specify it as "other information".

Then you are redirected to the online pages of payment. If you choose to pay online with a card (either at ePayment or Paypal). If you don't want to pay online, you will receive a message with the text: " the order has been successfully placed" and you will receive the order notification by email.


About shipping – when ordering online, when are the items being delivered?

 
An order is delivered depending on the time that you specify on the site. At the latest, the flowers are delivered within 4 hours in Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest, Brașov, Baia Mare, Oradea and Târgu Mureș in max. 4 hours in Romania and maximum 24 hours Internationally. Exceptions are Sundays, when no flowers are delivered internationally. Deliveries are made after we confirm payment in advance, regardless of the payment method chosen. The time limit for placing orders with same day delivery in Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest, Brașov, Baia Mare, Oradea and Târgu Mureș is 19:00 from Monday to Sunday.  The time limit for placing orders with same day delivery in the rest of Romania is 18:00 from Monday to Sunday.

In special periods like February 14 and March 1 to 8, orders placed and paid for those days will be delivered respecting intervals chosen by you in ouy order. Delivery times of 2-4 hours, remains only for days that are not part of the periods mentioned above or other days with high volume orders.


I’m (not) from Romania – how do I order, how can I pay?

 

No matter you launch the order from Romania or from other country, ordering is the same. If you pay online, by PayU or with Paypal, they process cards both international and local ones in more currencies, the money being automatically converted in the currency the item bought is. If you are not in Romania, you can pay by an alternative service – Western Union.

Can I receive an invoice?

 
Of course.  You will get the invoice on your email only after the gift has been delivered.


Is it possible for you to keep my name confidential?

 
Yes, of course. The only thing you need to do is to specify it in the order form.


What happens if the recipient is not found at the specified address? 

 
We make the most before every delivery to contact the recipient so that we can be sure the item can be sent at the address you specified in the order form, at a certain hour. If this doesn’t happen, our delivery boys offer the bouquet/flower arrangement/gift to a person they find at the same address: usually, a relative that will put her/his name on the delivery acknowledgement. Another solution is resending the item (floral bouquet, arrangement, etc) at a specified hour and day concerted with the remitter and recipient. The costs for the second delivery will be supported by the remitter.


What care conditions do you recommend for a flower bouquet?

 
Each flower bouquet created by Magnolia Flower Shops has a special cut flower food attached. This should be added in ½ liter of water. The flowers' quality and  maturity supposes changing the water and recutting the stems if necessary. The shorter the stems with few leaves, the better.  It will resist longer. We recommend you avoid exposeure of flowers to direct sunlight and heat. Cut regularly with a sharp knife or pruning shears the stems (not with the scissors).

 

What are the care conditions for floral arrangements?


The shorter the stems, the longer life the flowers will have. We reccomend you to damp the floral foam from the arrangements every 2 or 3 days. Place the arrangements away from heat and bright sunlight.

 

What are the care conditions for indoor plants?


The repotting should be done yearly or every 2 years (usually in spring), depending on the plant's growth and only when it doesn't have any flowers. The new pot should be 2-3 cm larger than the old one.
During the winter time is reccomended that you use the fertilizer every 14 days and just once a week during the rest of the year, fertilizer needed for specific plants: decorative with flowers, foliage plants orchids, cactus plants, etc.
Water : Make sure the plants don't have water in the pot tray. Fluoridated water should be allowed to sit at room temperature over night before using. Plants should  be watered and sprayed regularly, rarely on winter and more often during summer if 2-3 cm of the soil on the surface is dry. Light: Stand in a bright place, no direct sunlight. Temperature and humidity: If the temperature is high, plants need more humidity. In winter, the humidity being lower, some plants should be sprayed. Plants are imported from Holland. For decorative purpose only, do not consume.

 

With how many days before the wedding could I order a bridal bouquet?

 
Bridal bouquets cannot be ordered online. We can offer you advices on what flowers you should use in the bridal bouquets, create them, information regarding prices, their availability and shippment.
