Arrangement with guzmania

Guzmania is an interior plant that has the following care conditions: moderate light, kept at the room’s temperature, moderately watered. Preferably, the water is put inside the plant, at the intersection of the leaves, in the rosette. Guzmania is a resistant plant, that flowers once per year. After the plant dies, the leaves fall, and another plant will grow from it. The new plant is preferably to be transplanted in other container.

The shorter the stems, the longer life the flowers will have. Place the flowers away from heat and bright sunlight. Remove all leaves that may be in the water. Cut between 2-5 cm off the stem. Use a sharp knife or pruning shears for a better water absorption, cutting the stems at a 45˚angle.
